My Story

Growing up, the arts were a part of our everyday life, especially in the summer. We wrote plays, painted masterpieces, built inventions, and performed musical numbers about our dog Piper. Not perfect creations. Just creations. The kind of creations that encouraged us to keep making and doing. 

“All children can benefit from this kind of homegrown creativity.”

The process of making something all your own is so much more important than the end result. Creative endeavors build confidence and encourage problem solving. We call this process art.

Kids are natural creators.”

Especially when they are encouraged to create freely. Ms. Pauley's Creative Arts is all about creating freely....

And having a BLAST!!!

Our goal is to give students an active and inspiring group experience in drama.

We incorporate improv games, critical thinking, movement, safe stage combat, scene work, voice work, and collaborative storytelling. Our students work in teams writing, directing, and performing. We dramatize fairy tales and fall in love with Shakespeare. We explore drama in a safe, non-competitive environment. Play-based, lively, and imaginative. 

Seems like silliness, but it's actually developing their theatre chops!
